    Hi. We tried all this but mute symbol still showing

    any more ideas. Have heard of other people having this problem but no solution Need more solutions please please please.

    Sounds like it could be a problem with the headset port of the controller - they have been known to wear out, if this is the case then a headset adaptor might be a viable alternative to the 3.5mm socket in the controller.

    Hello!

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having trouble with your headset being detected. Have you made sure the batteries are fully charged or new? You can also check to see if the controller itself needs
    to be updated from your Kinect and Devices section. Try the headset on a cell phone to see if it is detected on there. Let us know with a reply how it goes!

    Hi what type of headset is it? Are you sure it's compatible with the Xbox one?
