    my mute sign is always on

    Well bought a brand new mic and when I tried it I saw the mute sign on my tv. Tried a number of things to fix it but no luck. There was a update done and that's when this happened. No sound on the mic. Please find me a fix for this.

    Anyone notice the sign in being slower since the update?

    Sign in isn't a problem for me, the problem is my TV is muted for like 45 seconds when everything turns on. Really weird

    Mics not connecting to controllers multiple times.

    tried the adapter, Still not working. The mute symbols always on even though I'm not muted
    This may sound like a stupid question, but are you signed into your profile (gamertag) when you see the mute icon?

    I use a Passkey on my controller, but before I sign in I always see the mute icon on screen. It is only after I turn on controller to get Passkey screen, enter 6 character code that signs me in, that the mute icon changes to headset/mic icon.

    As a test, are you able to plug a earbud/mic into the controller?

    Does the mute icon change when you plug it in?

    why the "x"ed out mics on on extinction?

    This has happened to me a few times, usually following muting the entire lobby in multiplayer because of some annoying mic I couldn't figure out who it was, with the mute all command. I would sign on the next day, and the new lobby I jumped into was all
    muted. I would assume that extinction would be the same. You should be able to un mute them individually or unmute them all at once.

    Just brought home new xbox because of this issue. Just plugged in, did not sign in and MUTE button shows up!!??? What could be keeping the mute button on? We can hear others gaming but can’t speak to them. Please help
