Mute on Xbox console companion

Is there a way to set a hotkey to mute my mic to my party but not to my stream? I have a foot pedal i would like to pair it with to mute/unmute each click like it works in discord. Any way to do this?

The only alternative I can think of is to turn on Push to Talk so the stream always hear you, but the party only hears you once you press the talk key.

Hello, with an adapter that is applied to the remote control at the bottom gives you access to mute volume up and down, greetings.

How do you use Push to Talk in the xbox console companion app? I don't see an option for this.

They need a dedicated mute button that we can program a different key too. this is ridiculous. holding push to talk in heavy gameplay is rough.

If you'd like to do it this way, there's a way to set a hotkey, but it'd require other software, or hotkey/macro software in order to do it.

I use something called Macrodeck for the macro/hotkey settings.
