    Please help. I hope I can explain the problem we are having . The xbox is displaying a mute icon on our screen in the top right corner of our tv. The picture is of a microphone with a line through it. We are unable to hear any game or person on my headsets
    but when my headsets are not plugged in we can hear games fine on our TV. Has anyone else experienced this problem. We are going crazy trying to figure this out.

    Search this site for my post regarding Headset icon on top right of TV screen or just search Headset and you will see solution involving going to settings Kinect and Devices.

    I've responded several times to this issue and a solution has been posted.

    This mute icon has come up on my sons xbox and I have tried youtube tutorials and asking in store.

    Can anyone advise me on how to remove this symbol so he can use his head phones and mic because he's driving me mad.

    Id check your setting and make sure your headset isnt muted in the devices that happened to me and my brother he muted my headset and I couldnt hear or talk to anyone so I thought my heatset was broken but it wasnt the case just muted in the settings
