Multiple xbox questions

I have a series x(xbox A) in my bedroom. I want to buy my kids a series x(Xbox B) in the living room. We would have 3 profiles.

Profile A= my profile

Profile B= my wife

profile c= my son

If i set xbox B to the home xbox anyone can play on that xbox. Problem is my wife likes to play on xbox A. Can profile B or C play on xbox A by themselves anymore or only profile A? And can profile B and C play together on xbox A and xbox B together?

Why dont you just transfer your wife account on flash drive to the new console. and then registering the new console on xbox.com to her account that way it wont take as long :/

and if you install games, you still need the disk in the console. or it wont play the game, the idea of installing is to save certain content of the disk to spead up loading times.

as i had a similer idea to you. its the same with pc games you get on disk. its to authenticate the game is not a copy ETC....

Most X360 games are 6-8 GBs for a install. Using Flash Drives or USB HDDs will always be limited to 16gbs of memory no matter how big it is because of the Format.

With regards to your question, once you set Xbox B as your Home xbox, only the owner of the game can play the games installed on Xbox A. So other users logged in on Xbox A wouldn't be able to play the games installed unless they also own it on their account.

Now once you set Xbox B as your Home Xbox, any profile logged in on the Xbox B will be able to use or play your games and use your subscriptions benefit such as Xbox Live Gold. Once a user play a game on Xbox B with their own profile, for Example Minecraft, then using Xbox A you will be using your own profile then you can play with them together.

I suggest you return it to the retailer that you purchased it from and exchange it, yes I know how hard this is likely to be. The symptoms you’re describing are not end user serviceable
