Multiple XBOX consoles with 1 account

Good afternoon,

We used to have 1 xbox console and 1 account (mine). I AM NOT A GAMER! My son and daughter shared the console. He has taken the console to college, and I bought another for my daughter here at home. Can they still share the same account with a profile for each?

You can't play on two consoles at the same time with the same account. So technically they could still each use the same account, but if one of them is playing a game, they will be kicked off if the other person signs into the account to play. It's best to create separate accounts for each user.

the thing I brought up was, 'an account only can share with one other xbox, but if you had multiple different accounts game sharing on one console, you should be able to play any of the games from any of the accounts'

This is correct. Multiple accounts can set 1 console as their Home, but each account can only set 1 console as their Home.

. The profile is on both of them, it was working to just sign in to whichever one I wanted.

one question did you sign out of the prrevioud console before moving?
