Multiple XBox consoles wanting to share games and Live Gold.

We now have 2 X-Box One consoles, having had just one set up until now.

Ultimately I want to have 2 people playing on-line multi-player games (sharing any games purchased to date) at the same time.

Right now we only have one user id set up with Live Gold subscription and tied to one MSN user/email address.

What do I need to do to get both X-Box's working as stated in the simplest and most cost-effective way? - do I need a new MSN account/email address to set up a new console/user/player? Do I need a 2nd Live Gold subscription? Anything else I need to do?

Set the gold account xbox as home add second user account get second user to use this xbox and sign in to other xbox with your gold account details

Hey there!

You will need two different accounts, but only one of them will need an Xbox Live subscription if you set it up correctly.

Account #1 will need to purchase the games and the subscription, and set Console #1 as your home device. Account #2 will then use that console as its primary console. This will allow Account #2 to access the games and subscription through Gold Sharing.

Account #1 will then use Console #2 to play games, as you can take your games/subscriptions to any other device not set as the home console. This will allow both users to play online and access the games without having to purchase them again.

Each person should have their own accounts and will need one in order to sign in at the same time on both consoles. The account that purchased the gold/games would set one console as their Home console. https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox This
will allow them to share the games and gold with any other profiles using that Home console. That account would then use the non-Home console. They will be able to sign into Live and still access everything they have purchased while the other account uses
the Home console.

i suggest you have the 2nd console to sign in to the profile you want to game share and home it to the xbox which you can find under settings>System>personalized settings and home the profile. Then on the 1st xbox where you started have the 2nd profile downloaded
and then home it to that xbox. In this case it should now have gold as well and have the games you have.

Hey MsTheGamer290! To share Xbox Live Gold you will want the master account to set the family's Xbox console as their Home Console. This will allow all users that play on that Xbox to utilize Xbox Live Gold features and games owned by the master account.
