I have two samsung tvs and two samsung brand cable boxes.... the cable boxes are identical, as I have multi room DVR... the tvs are different, but both samsung.

I have an upstairs loft overlooking the living room with one cable box and tv up there.... then in the living room I have my xbox one and other tv and sable box....

Problem is that 9 times out of 10, when I turn xbox on with the voice command, it will turn on both sets of TVs and cable boxes... how do I stop this?? can I minimize the range of the signal sent by xbox to the tvs so it doesnt reach my loft? (its at least
25 feet away and 10 feet up) This is driving me crazy! I suppose I could get a new tv up here, but i prefer samsung, and I definitely cant get another cable box...

Two xbox ones next to each other: Voice Control?

Me and my roommate will both have our Xbox ones in the living room connected to two different tvs next to each other. Will voice recognition still work to turn my xbox on as well as in game commands if we are both playing?

I can't see why the console would turn on two tv's and boxes with one command. Do you somehow have them both linked to the same console?

If so then you should unlink both tv's.

Thanks all! Using voice commands is great and i will try this. I'm surprised that there is no way adjust the volume using the remote. Scenario being, if go from game (cranked up 7.1) to TV i want to turn it down, but the TV is too loud for voice commands.

Yes it is. If only my tv would turn off with voice command. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Okay, so I don't think there is a way to just turn off voice commands but you can turn off the kinect. say "Xbox, go to settings" and go to the kinect settings and you can turn it off. That or you could wear a headset and then other players voices won't
be going through the tv and you can still have voice commands and hear the other players.

For me, it's the voice commands, generally speaking. However, specifically speaking, the reason I like the voice commands the best is because of how the console integrates so well with my TV & audio setup. Being able to say "Xbox, On" & have it turn on my
TV & audio setup is very nice & conversely, to turn it all off as well by saying "Xbox, turn off" & have everything turn right off. The sign-in aspect of the voice-commands is pretty sweet too - being able to say, "Xbox, sign in as Keith" works every single
time without fail. =D
