    I am frustrated with Microsoft's xBox One and the games. First, I do not understand why everyone needs to have a MS account. Why can't I synch 2 controllers and simply play a game? Instead I need to create accounts, sign each controller into an account and
    then HOPE the game actually supports local multiple players.

    Second...I have spent the last 12 hours downloading Halo 5 and waiting for it to install. Finally, it loads only to find out it doesn't support multiple players off the same console. Am I missing something or is the packaging of 2 - 24 players only for online
    gaming? I cannot play with friends from one console?

    Please help! Have I made a mistake of buying an xBox One instead of a PS4? All I want to do is play games with my friends and family in the same room and from the same console.

    Make sure that player 2 is signed into a profile or when you go to the sign in screen there is an option to add guest.

    This is a game by game thing. You can only play offline multiplayer if the game offers local play on the same console.

    Create a gamertag for your son, each of you grab a controller, sit in front of tv, start playing.

    Forza5 Two player mode, how to get there.

    Log onto the xboxone with your main account.

    Load Forza 5 up to the main screen with the Mclarren P1 on it.

    Press "A"

    From here you will see multiple tiles with different selections, (Career, Rivals, Multiplayer, Free Play)

    To play a split screen couch co op game you need to select "Free Play"

    You will notice immediately a slot that says "player 2" turn second controller on now, have Son press the Menu button and it will ask him to log in and will then add his profile to the race.

    No simply select cars and track and start racing with your son!

    just got the xbox 360 and can't figure out how to play 2 people?? how to activate second player??

    I have tried everything they say,,but we still only can play with one player.
