    First let me state that all network tests on my Series X test out fine, so am fairly convinced the issue isn't local (1060 mb download, 40 mb upload, 18 ms latency, Open NAT, etc...). Additionally i'm seeing a lot of posts about similar issues from random games not functioning properly, however as of this afternoon Microsoft is reporting no known issues and the issues we're experiencing still persist. Note this isn't impacting local games (e.g. Hogwarts Legacy runs fine).

    Starting Sunday night (12/10) games that require online connectivty systematically started failing (not all at the same time). It started with Fortnite where the game never fully starts and gets stuck on "unable to connect to server". On Monday we were able to play both Forza Motorsport and Diablo 4, but as of Monday afternoon they were both impacted as well. We haven't gone through our entire library but as of right now, the following is a summary of issues:

    • Fortnite - Unplayable as it never goes beyond "unable to connect to server" at which point it continually tries to reconnect
    • Diablo 4 - Unplayable as we get the unable to connect to Battle.net code 1016 error
    • Forza Motorsport - Playable in offline only mode with no progress saved, attempts to reconnect to server fail
    • MLB the Show 23 - Unable to connect to the servers, can only play local story mode
    • Minecraft - Games starts but hitting "sign-in" button does nothing

    That's just a handful of the games we're currently having issues with, and as stated previously there are similar issues with other games being reported on the forums however i'm not seeing anything being correlated to a widespread issue.

    If anyone has any ideas i'd love to try them out, but something seems amiss.

    We totally understand that you want to connect online and play your games. It seems that you are experiencing issues with online connectivity for multiple games on your Xbox Series X. You have mentioned that you have tested your network, and it is working fine. However, you are still unable to connect to the servers for games like Fortnite, Diablo 4, MLB the Show 23, and Minecraft. You have also mentioned that you are seeing similar issues being reported on forums. Just a reminder, we are not able to double check your account here manually since we do not have the option to.     -May I know what was the last changes/updates you made on your end before the issue occurred?
    - Is everything completely working before?
    - Have you tried connecting to a different internet connection/mobile hotspot?

    Basing on the statement you provided above, here are some troubleshooting steps that you may try:

    Restart your Xbox Series X: Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. Wait for a few seconds and then press the Xbox button again to restart it.

    1. Check for updates: Make sure that your Xbox Series X is up-to-date with the latest software updates. To check for updates, go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads > Console update available.
    2. Check Xbox Live status: Check the Xbox Live status page to see if there are any known issues with the service. If there are any issues, wait for Microsoft to resolve them. You can also sign up for notifications to receive a message when the service is up and running again.
    3. Check your network connection: Make sure that your Xbox Series X is connected to the internet and that your network connection is stable. You can also try resetting your router or modem to see if that resolves the issue.

      If none of the steps above worked, try to reset your console.

      -Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

      -Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

      -Select Reset console.

      -On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options: Reset and remove everything. This option resets the console to factory settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox ...Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted ...Cancel. To back out of this screen, simply select the Cancel button. No action has been taken at this point. This is a safe exit from this screen.

      If it still not working, kindly try to connect to a different Wi-Fi connection, LAN, or a mobile hotspot and check of the issue still persist.
