    multiple issues with new dashboard update


    First off since the new dashboard i am no longer able to log in using my kinect.

    The home button freezes my console.

    I cant be in party chat and destiny without being booted to home screen and told i need to be logged in to xbox live to play games when i am still logged in

    the feedback system does not work i get a generic error message.

    can no longer turn my xbox off using my controller

    Dashboard Update not popping up?

    So I heard about this new dashboard update (just now), and from the multiple times I have played today, I have yet to see any update for the dashboard. Could anyone provide some help?

    New Xbox One System Update Goes Live Today

    The article also when on to note that those with the "Instant On" feature enabled will be first to get the update since it will roll out in waves. Everyone else will received it by Thursday 12/12/13. I for one am very happy to see Microsoft quickly begin to fix the many small issues or bug currently found on the Xbox One. We can only hope they continue to be persistent and hasten.

    XBOX ONE DASHBOARD SUCKS!!!!!!!!

    Microsoft will also be doing multiple updates in the future to make the dashboard better depending on user feedback. New features will likely appear in the future.

    [/quote]If you have the "new" dashboard update, then everyone has the "new" dashboard update. So, no, that isn't the issue. More than likely to tried too early. You should have it by now, if you haven't already gotten it by the time you read this post.

    For those who have sync and connectivity issues and are members of the dashboard preview go to settings->system and update your consoles. There is a new dashboard update fixing any issues!
