Multiple Controller playing on One console

Hi

My be this is very basic dumb question.

I just bought xbox one . Few games like spark , NBA etc. I have 2 controllers

My dumb question is how can 2 different players take these two controllers and play in the game Just like Wii (Ouch)

Spark game says its a 2 player .

I don't want to buy gold package . Whenever I choose multiplayer it prompts me to goto gold package screen

That is irritating .

Hey guys! If you are having issues with controller, please try using them on multiple consoles, and using multiple controllers on the same console. Also try different games.

• If this only happens with one game, try the in-game options for better performance.
  
• If this only happens with one controller on multiple consoles, we recommend replacing that controller.
  
• If this only happens with all controllers on one console, you may need a console repair.

Playing downloaded content on multiple consoles

Here let me lay the story out in detail; I recently bought Crysis 2 on demand for my xbox in my room. However I have a second xbox in my basement which is primarily where my brother plays. I wanted him to try out crysis so I put the game on a USB and put
in the xbox downstairs where it said that the game could not be launched. However my profile can play the game but my brothers can't. so is at all possible to allow my brother to play the game without me signed in on the basement xbox?

I apologize for the frustration that your enduring. In order to play your games online via multiplayer you will need to have an Xbox Live Gold Membership. However, if you're trying to play offline, you can play via splitscreen if the games allows it. You
can bypass the use of a profile for some games that don't require the online feature by selecting "No" when asking to sign in with a profile, but won't be able to gain any achievement for that particular game.
