Multiple authentication/access issues

Long post but wanted to be thorough and provide as much info as I can.

Background: I switched my laptop from Linux back to Windows 11 just because I found it easier to use. I reinstalled all my apps and tried launching Minecraft via Modrinth. Didn't work due to several different errors trying to link my Microsoft/Minecraft account to Modrinth.

1. Minecraft authentication Hydra error: Error getting bearer token: Error fetching URL: error sending request for url (https://api.minecraftservices.com) error trying to connect: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. (os error 10054)

2. Minecraft authentication Hydra error: No Minecraft account for profile. Make sure you own the game and have set a username through the official Minecraft launcher.

I have owned and played this game for years and never had any issues except post installing Win11 (ISO copied from Microsoft website).

Modrinth is 3rd party so lets try the regular launcher. I can log in with no issues but can't start because of:

Weird. I try the various workarounds listed in this bug report in Minecraft's JIRA for this error (delete .minecraft folder, change DNS to 1.1.1.1/8.8.8.8), not working. Maybe something is wrong Minecraft's or maybe Microsoft's services? I checked all the "down detectors" for Minecraft, everything seems normal. Tried checing Microsoft's and immediately get hit with site can't be reached. Took a handful of refreshes to bring up the site but eventually saw there was nothing down.

With a brand new ISO installed, I would suspect there would be something wrong with the services but everything is saying no issues. Could it be an issue with my install? I've only installed apps like Steam, VSCode, Modrinth, Minecraft. No VPNs, no firewall/network changes, etc. Nothing is/was configured in settings that could affect this.

The only progress I've made was logging out of the official Minecraft launcher, relogin, and was able to get to:

I have it configured to use the bundled runtime, but after pointing it to my JDK 17 install location, it worked. Tried adding my Minecraft account to Modrinth and was brought to the "Do you want to give Modrinth access to your Microsoft account" page, which after seeing below page and refreshing again several times, I was able to grant access but still get hit with the first two errors.

At this point, I'm not sure where the error/issue is whether it's my laptop, WiFi settings (should be default everything), Mojang, Microsoft, accounts, etc. I've exhausted all my options so far. Right now I'm assuming it's a Windows networking issue as I don't see a lot of posts about it affecting many others and seems to be fairly local.

The modrinth support for Minecraft is incomplete in some versions, which may result in not being able to call these APIs. As an alternative, you can try to use other popular three-way mod launchers on the web to test if it's an issue with the current version of modrinth compatibility.

Hello again, if you managed to reset your password is because you have access to the account, ente wait 72 hours before making a retry sometimes it may have been blocked by security by multiple attempts.

Another option would be to try to access the account through Microsoft authenticator, which is another form of account validation.

Russia is blocked from accessing amicrosoft services until such time as the sanctions are lifted. The error code indicates an authentication issue

Did you try signing out and signing back in again? It looks like some sort of authentication/authorizations issue since it is saying access denied.

But I can't access Cross-Save for Destiny 2 because I can't Authenticate the account because I CAN'T Authenticate it.
