    Multiplayer Setup of Xbox 360 Game on Xbox One - Live not Connecting


    Having a problem setting up a Live! connection for a 360 game I'm playing on a One (Halo Reach).

    Playing a One game, it has no issues. Logs into Live fine, can chat with people, etc, so I know there's no physical or network issue with the Xbox itself connecting to the Internet and the Live servers.

    Launch the game, access the menu to sign in, and it wouldn't connect. Reading various answers on here, one of the first things to try was to clear local 360 storage and download the profile again. Brilliant, I thought.

    Deleted the profile fine, hard reset the console, started the game up again, went in to the menu, etc. and tried to download the profile. No joy, says it can't connect. Wasn't asked for an email or password, it just tried and failed.

    Can still chat to people via the One, just not connecting from this game.

    Does anyone have any ideas please?

    How did you get a multiplayer connection but not connect to Xbox Live? You need to be connected to Live to play multiplayer.
