Where can I find the setting that allows multiplayer games? I have tried finding it for 2h now from microsoft and xbox settings but keep ending up to family online safety help page. When I click data protection and network security, which is probably supposed to open the setting, it doesn't open a new page - just leads to the same help page.

    :)

Thank you so much for your time helping me with this!

Yes the problem is with Minecraft, it's for Windows10 so i guess Bedrock? There have been some issues with my Teredo connection, and my friend has also suggested to look into the NAT type. He gets the same error when trying to connect to my world too.

I will look into the things you suggested and I'll update if it works and if it's something else.

    Hi,

I assume you’re referring to Minecraft, correct me if I’m wrong here though. And yes, this doesn’t sound like an account problem, now that you have all the required privacy settings enabled.

To clarify, which Minecraft edition are you experiencing this issue with - Java edition or Bedrock edition?

What’s your NAT type? You can find this in advanced network settings and ideally you’d want this to be Open, and not ‘Moderate’ or ‘Strict’.

Do your friends receive the same error when connecting to your world?

If you have all the required account settings enabled for multiplayer and you still come across an error when

trying to connect to a world, then this is most likely a Network issue. I don’t see any other reason that would affect your connection, unless there’s current server maintenance or an outage with Minecraft.

No reported service alerts though as confirmed on their Twitter page @MojangStatus as well as Xbox Live Status

and Xbox support page on Twitter @XboxSupport

If you have all the necessary privacy settings allowed and no restrictions on your network with an Open NAT, theoretically, you shouldn't experience any difficulties connecting online.

Some other possible troubleshooting steps I suggest that weren’t mentioned on the support guides is to reset and update your router, if an update is available. If you’re able to, try connecting to the world on another network - a mobile hotspot perhaps?

There’s also a Reddit thread on this.

If this error persists contact Minecraft support (submit a support request/ticket with as much info as possible and they’ll reply by email). You can always reach them on Twitter @MojangSupport

You may also want to contact your ISP regarding this. I’d recommend troubleshooting this with them, especially if this error occurs with other online games and devices.

    Hopefully this helps :)

Now my settings are okay, I got help from Microsoft support. Though the problem is still there. I can not join a multiplayer server, it just says no connection to the world. This might not be a problem related to my account, but does someone have an idea why this keeps happening?
