    Multiplayer settings for mobile / IOS


    I have been trying to get my 2 kids to connect on minecraft through ipads or over PS4 and I cannot find settings that match what is listed under the instructions, I can only choose what to monitor, I cannot "add device" "add apps or games" and there are no instructions to follow to enable all app permissions. It states that screen time features are not yet available. Does that mean I cannot enable app permissions through "screen time"?

    I also read in previous comments from microsoft that it is not to do with their settings but actually minecraft, but this is not true for this.

    I am not able to change settings because it refers to restrictions in their microsoft accounts. It has been 2 years trying. I have downloaded the Microsoft Family App on every device and reviewed all optional settings, increased age limit to "any age" but there isnt anywhere to add apps or games or change multiplayer settings for mobile and even though I downloaded the app as per microsoft instructions, it does not "add the device" in which we are downloading the app onto. I have tried adding a device from my laptop on my daughter's account but I am unable to add an iphone because microsoft does not recognize the serial #. Do I have to use the Microsoft Edge browser for this kind of thing as well? This app is restricted to 17+. How many apps are needed for this?

    Hi, my name is , I'm an Independent Consultant and a member of the Xbox community like you. Remembering that this is a community forum and just like you we are Xbox users and players.

    Access the page;

    https://www.xbox.com/user/settings/privacy-and-...

    Select the Profile you want to activate multiplayer on.

    Click on "Online Security of Xbox and Windows 10 devices"

    Change Allow to the following options:

    "You can join cross-network play"

    "You can create and join clubs"

    "You can join multiplayer games"

    "You can upload screenshots to Xbox"

    "You can add friends and follow others"

    Then click Submit and see if the problem persists.
