Restart your network: Unplug your router, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
Sign back into your Minecraft account.
Update your network driver.
Close programs that consume a lot of bandwidth.
Try disabling Windows Firewall:
Select the Home button.
Then open Settings.
Under Privacy and security, select Windows Security > Firewall and network protection.
Select a network profile: Domain Network, Private Network, or Public Network.
In Microsoft Defender Firewall, change the value to Off.
Try using a VPN.
Check if servers are down everywhere.
Also, make sure the ‘Join multiplayer games’ option is enabled in the Xbox One/Windows 10 online privacy tab on the official Xbox website.

Unlike individual multiplayer games now, the Xbox One's cloud servers are unified... they process what needs to be processed, they're not locked down to one game until they need to be allocated to another.

In other words, as long as Xbox is around, those servers will be, and I imagine your games will work just fine.

There's no official word on if/when the One servers will shut down. The 360 servers are still up and running so it'll be a long time before the One servers are shut down.
