    Multiplayer not working with parental controls


    I am setting up multiplayer in Minecraft for my son, age under 12. I have parental controls set up on his account. I selected to allow multiplayer and it was working correctly before, and now it is no longer working. He gets a message saying that multiplayer is disabled because of parental controls. When I check my controls, multiplayer is enabled. When I send him an invitation to a multiplayer world from my parent account, he gets the invitation as a pop-up on the screen, but nothing happens when he taps on it and then it disappears. We are using iOS Bedrock edition.

    How do I restrict network access and game removal access?

    parental controls require the account be online, you can limit screen time or you can block them from playing multiplayer completely using family controls.

    Are you sure the account itself under the parental controls allows them to play multiplayer? I know sometimes this can cause an issue. Hope this helps!
    Yeah I went and added them to my family and changed their settings and multiplayer is allowed and I wont work still. I even signd out and in again.

    OK, so we have managed to get rid of the parent controls, but I still can't enter Multiplayer, even though I have set the Multiplayer settings in my Microsoft account to be allowed

    Hi. Why don't you try re-downloading your profile. Also, check under your Microsoft account and make sure no parental control is on. If you are still having problems, you can also contact official support at xbox.com under the Support section.
