    It's unfair my children can't play multiplayer games. He can't talk to people and only has online friends. He lost all his friends in Minecraft due to Microsoft's harsh rules. So Microsoft, disable this, please.

    Umm it's not a rule it's the law

    Minimun age for online play or even signing up online is 13 protected by the international lsws

    Anything else the parent MUST create the account

    I dunno my nephews run school sponsored Minecraft educational version legally and they are 6-8 keep in mind they are using school restricted chromebooks

    @op this is to prevent kids who don't know better from signing up for chats app and spending obscene amount of money or chat with strangers well you hope that parents know better

    Yes parents have left kids alone with a controller who thought it was a toy and spent 900 bucks because Tommy liked pressing the small red button seen it occur on forums a few times despite the child account warnings and they were, 5 or under

    Parents mistaken inanimate objects as a free babysitter till little Tommy spends 900 bucks

    It means parent have to be around and manage their account

    If he has recieved enforcement action as a result of breaking the rules, then he has to wait out his punishment just like everyone else.

    Sorry the correct age requirement on EA games is actually 13 or over not 18, so to be able to play any EA game online/multiplayer is you have to be over 13
