Muffled voice audio from Marvel Avengers Screen Recordings

Just began playing Marvel Avengers on my Xbox Series X and taking screen recordings which was working fine.

The next day I continued to play and take screen recordings and noticed afterward that all the videos began to screen record with muffled voice audio but everything else (music, sound effects, etc) was completely fine.

I deleted the game from my storage and re-downloaded it but the problem persisted.

Audio from other games work fine.

Anyone know why this is happening? It seems like its an issue only on Marvel Avengers.

I would really appreciate the help.

Hey Jesse,

Thanks for the input but I have tried everything you have mentioned above and the voice audio in the Marvel Avengers screen recordings I take is still muffled.

Hey Jesse,

I found out what was affecting the voice audio, interestingly enough it was my headphones for some reason.

I was trying everything that I could think of to fix the issue and from the very start of the problem, I had had a sneaking suspicion that thats what was causing the muffled voice audio.

So I took a screen recording without my headphones attached and found out thats what the issue was. I have never run into this issue before with any other game.

Why would this be? Do you know if there is a means of troubleshooting this?

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

First try reinstalling the game, if that doesn't work, I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

- Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.
