MSFT2020 and Logitech pro series hardware.

Hi

I am not sure what to say I spent all day yesterday reinstalling windows and MSFT2020. The day started out ok then I had to download drivers for my Logitech gear. Before I did that MSFT2020 loaded in a fairly fast time. I had been able to open it whenever I wanted. After I downloaded the drivers the progress line would get to the end then just stay there. In doing so it took maybe 6 to 8 times as long as when it was working properly. I tried at least10 times to no Avile it would just hang right at the same spot. It would continue to play whatever music the sim plays but just stay there. Making a judgement that all things being equal it had to be the drivers or programs Logitech said to use. Well, I figured I had a restore point just before I loaded the new software. Well, that turned out to be a mistake as it not only took out the SIM but Windows with it.

So today after spending a couple of hours of reinstalling different items I use I tried again, and you will never guess what happened! Well pretty much the same except now instead of hanging up and the end of starting the Sim, now it gets to where it says your computer didn't shutdown properly you pick either option and the thinking Icon goes around about halfway and the sim shuts down. BTW, I knew I was in trouble when the icon in the task bar just disappeared.

I've uninstalled everything I can, but I don't know how to find the Logitech MSFT flight sim plugin to uninstall it. I can delete the file, but I don't know if that just might cause me more problems. I don't want to restore the computer after what happened. Any ideas would be appreciated. What I have stated is all that I did I didn't load anything but what Logitech had for it.

There are different ways to remove apps and programs, so if you can't find the one you're looking for, you can try another location.

For Windows 11

Uninstall from the Start menu

Select Start

> All apps and search for the app in the list shown.
Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall.

Uninstall in Settings

Select Start

> Settings

> Apps > Apps & features .
Find the app you want to remove, select More > Uninstall.

Note: The Settings app can't uninstall 32-bit apps. To do this, follow the instructions to uninstall from Control Panel.

Uninstall from Control Panel

In search on the taskbar, enter Control Panel and select it from the results.
Select Programs > Programs and Features.
Press and hold (or right-click) on the program you want to remove and select Uninstall or Uninstall/Change. Then follow the directions on the screen.

For Windows 10

Uninstall from the Start menu

Select Start

and look for the app or program in the list shown.
Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall.

Uninstall from the Settings page

Select Start

> Apps > Apps & features.
Select the app you want to remove, and then select Uninstall.

Uninstall from the Control Panel (for programs)

In the search box on the taskbar, type Control Panel and select it from the results.
Select Programs > Programs and Features.
Press and hold (or right-click) on the program you want to remove and select Uninstall or Uninstall/Change. Then follow the directions on the screen.

I finally took the Logitech C922 Pro because the Logitech StreamCam I wanted to make a bad return for the Series X and is in USB-C. While the C922 is a reference.

Hi, according to the official Logitech support the controller they didn't release support for Xbox console / you can't connect it directly to the console (only to the Adaptive controller)

And nope, Xbox consoles can't be connected and used with a PC in that way.

Right now the only way to the console with your PC is starting a remote play session

Yes a webcam will work with your console. Microsoft recommends Logitech C920 HD Pro or Logitech C922 HD Pro Stream. In the beginning I just used an regular webcam and it worked.
