MSFS2020 Xbox series X Six of the World updates do not install properly.

Thanks for the reply. Carried out the the suggested actions which resulted in content manager saying I had 22 items to install! However, I installed Australia from the World series and this apparently installed OK according to Content Manager. On re-booting the software, I found that Australia was no longer installed. So I'm back to square one.

I understand you need help on your game update problem.

Try doing a reset on the console and install them again to see if this can help.

Let's refresh the console's system cache.

NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Console info

5. Select Reset console.

6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

This will also help sync the data on your console properly.

The digital version Flight Simulator 2020 is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, this means that if you purchase it on the Microsoft Store or Windows Store it can be installed on both systems.

I'm afraid if your Laptop does not meet the minimum spec it won't work on your device. If you buy an Xbox Series X or Series S and use the same account you can install and play it on there.

Note: The console must be a Series X or S. MSFS2020 is not compatible with the older Xbox One, Xbox One S, or Xbox One X

I now have a new xbox series x that can download msfs2020 and it works perfectly fine with my hotas.

I have not had any issue with connecting to the server with MSFS2020 on the Xbox X since the launch date.

I am now reinstalling MSFS2020 and will try again and give an update
