    MSFS2020 Won't start when I press play in the Xbox app.


    I’ve just installed MSFS2020 to play again, but when I tried to open the sim, it didn’t start. I have tried multiple methods to fix this issue, but none of them have worked. Back when I used to play, I never experienced this issue when trying to open the game. All I have done is download the game off the Xbox app. I haven’t downloaded any of the sim. If someone could help me out, I’d greatly appreciate it.

    • 8GB of Ram.
    • Latest Graphic Drivers.
    • Latest Windows Updates.
    • Windows 11.

    MSFS2020 marketplace --> can not buy anything

    Hi!

    I've the MSFS2020. In the marketplace it is possible to click BUY for a product. But after this I become the error "buying not possible".

    The accounts in the MS Store, XBOX-App and MSFS2020 are the same.

    My creditcard is working - because I bought a product today in the MS-Store.

    Anybody any idea what there is wrong?

    I had the same problem. I have a few apps I start before launching the sim, such as TrackIR, instrument server and a couple of other addons. On a whim, I started the sim with none of the addons and the Marketplace worked perfectly. Good luck.

    I had the same problem. It worked after I started MSFS with XBOX app and when I got the error switched back to XBOX app, logged out, not closed, and switched back to MSFS and tried again.
    SOLVED - Great work around. Thanks for the help, this fixed my problem. For those still trying to understand once I received the error I tabbed over to the Xbox app, signed out, left it open and then went back to the open MSFS2020 and tried it again. It then
    asked me to sign into Xbox App again and after that VOILA! it worked.

    Movie won't play

    I am having the same problem. The movie does not play when I press play movie. It starts to load on the app and then shuts off my screen and goes back to the app when it asks me to play or restart movie. Should I delete the movie? And start again? Will it charge me?

    Anytime I start a game like VRchat it's says there is an unexpected error that the game is open and when I try to play any thing on the Xbox app it won't load at times and other times it well load so slow that it won't open at all

    So i have that issue every couple weeks. I just log off msfs2020 and log back in and it works every time!
