MSFS2020 wont install.

We understand that you are trying to launch Microsoft Flight Simulator and you were unable to because the game crashes. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner for you to get back to gaming.

We are glad that your first concern is already fixed. The game support page, have a list of steps you can perform if you ever encounter issues installing and launching the game. Before we provide the steps, since you are posting here in Xbox category, we would like to isolate the issue. Please provide us the answers to the following questions:

1. Is this the only game you are having issues? How about other Xbox games?
   
2. May we confirm if you are playing the Xbox installed Microsoft Flight Simulator? Or did you install the game from Microsoft Store?
   
3. May we ask if you have issues installing Microsoft Store games? You may try to install Minecraft Launcher or Microsoft Sudoku or Microsoft Solitaire Collection?
   
4. Since you have been force quit or ending the task related to the installation of the game through task manager. Since AV was mentioned to be disabled, may we ask if you have other antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer installed in your PC?

Based on the game support article, you may perform the following:

• Close background applications & overlays and check audio drivers. (Please see source for the complete list of apps.)
  
• Unplug the peripherals you will not use during your play session.
  
• Repair or reset the Microsoft flight simulator app.
  
• Run the game as administrator (Microsoft Store version).
  
• Use game mode.
  

There is a list of steps you will have to follow when your game launches perfectly fine.

• Clear the rolling cache.
  
• Set graphics to low-end and try again.
  
• Localized crash.

I don't understand. Save data for MSFS2020? How i delete this save data or change? My Windows is new clean instalation, and the MSFS2020 too.

This aircraft is not from Microsoft. It has its own installation setup into MSFS2020. This program is for cockpit builders and controls hardware and instruments that interface with MSFS2020. The setup worked the first time I installed it but when I tried to install the latest update Windows 10 prevented it. This should not be happening.

I found the problem thanks to Bernie on the Prosim737 forum. The issue arises when you don't install MSFS2020 on the same drive as Windows in the default location. I'm going to try a couple of work arounds that were suggested but if they don't work I will have to re-install MSFS2020 in the default location.
