MSFS2020 FPS issue

I played the MSFS with med-high graphic settings. Since the last update (i think) my FPS dropped from 45-50 to 30-35. I tried some changes: low graphic, high graphic, data off, game restart, pc restart, nVidia update, but nothing, still on 30-35 fps.

My PC;

I7-7700k

GTX 1080

16 GB Ram

SSD

Internet: 500 mb/s stable download and 300 mb/s upload speed

I have the same specs (albeit 1080ti) and had the exact same problem.

Not sure why this worked, but I disabled AVAST shields in my icon tray and it went from 37fps to 61fps.

Have anyone tried 2x 3080 or 2x 3090 setup in SLI? Does it work on MSFS2020 and what FPS are you getting with everything ultra @ 4K? Thanks!

I have an iMac 27" 2019 with i9-8cores, 128gb RAM and 8GB GPU. Running Parallels on it, I installed MSFS2020 and it is hell - really bad. Very choppy, fps very low and you cannot play at all. It is more like a slide show than a game. I've tried it on Low,
same issue. Fps went up a little so now it was a "fast slide show"... MSFS2020 did say at the beginning that the system didn't meet minimum requirements (!) really?? i9, 80gb RAM allocated, and 8GB video?? After trying to tweak Parallels, MSFS2020, and looking
for solutions online, I gave up and ordered an Alienware Aurora 11.

In Parallels I had it set up with 80GB RAM, 6 cores on i9, and using the Gaming profile. It didn't help.

I run X Plane 11 on Mac and Windows as well. On Mac is perfect. On Windows 10 through Parallels, still suffer and get no more than 30 fps once in a while. So... no Mac for Windows-run games.

I have not had any issue with connecting to the server with MSFS2020 on the Xbox X since the launch date.

I am now reinstalling MSFS2020 and will try again and give an update

Thank you! exactly the issue! Logged in to XBOX, restarted MSFS2020 and bingo no more loop!
