MSFS2020 - Cannot see Friend in Friendlist (in Game)

Hello,

A Friend and I are experiencing the following:

We are friended in the Xbox App - When i list other players ingame, his name does not show up at all (neither in Online, nor in Disconnected) - he has the same issue with me.

Before this we had the often complained about issue, that the other one would show up as disconnected, even tho we were both online (Checked the Online Features in Settings, Checked the Profile Status to be "Online", checked the Xbox Profile beeing set to online instead of Invisible).

In an attempt to fix the prior issue, we both unfriended each other, and send new friend requests afterwards, since then we cant see each other in the Friendlist ingame. We do see each others status on the Xbox app / gamebar.

I already tried to restart windows, I tried to log off from every microsoft account used (Xbox App, Windows, Xbox companion app), restart the system again and start the game, still no change.

I've tried to turn off the online services ingame, and turn them on again after waiting for a bit - still no change.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Is there maybe some cache that i can clear to fix this?

All we want to do is play in a group and fly together for a bit, and we've been trying to fix this now for at least 3 hours.

After fiddling around with this... feature... we managed to fix it (i hope?)

For anyone else who might fall into the same crack, what we did is, we unfriended each other on xbox and tried to send Friendrequests ingame to each other (which didnt work before, because we got the message, that we're already friends)...

My Friendrequest failed, but i got a notification from my Friends friendrequest, and after accepting this, we finally can see each other again, and we managed to join a group.

AMAZING

I hope this documentation of our predicament will at least help someone else

That makes sense. However, if the friend of friend is already on your friendlist, I would think the same rule would apply whether you played with them or not.

The Xbox 360 friendlist is a different friendlist as the one friendlist.

You'll have to add him when your in your bo2 game from your xbox 360 menu (acces by pressing select and start at the same time.

They did this. So the friendlist on the one is compactblie to XBOX.com. If they go you way. I will never see some my friend on website. Because it still be set on 360. Even when 360 LIVE servers been closed.
