MSFS Menu Bar

Hi Jesse,

I'm bummed! MSFS started loading then said to go to Microsoft Store and get the patch - then MSFS seemed to remove itself and TILE from my PC start menu like it never existed! Help...?

When i start MSFS 2020 the blue bar appears, when it's half loaded, the game closes suddenly and goes to desktop no fault code.

Hi, Dandy! Are you installing MSFS 2020 via game pass or do you own the game?

You can try to run the game as admin.

Type "Flight Simulator" in the Windows search bar

Select Run as administrator in the menu

Here’s a method that has helped others with a similar problem:



Navigate to the OneStore folder within the MSFS directory.

Delete the folders named fs-base and fs-base-ui-pages.

Launch MSFS again, which should prompt the app to re-download these folders.

Go to task manager -> Details. Find GamingServices.exe and GamingServicesNET.exe and end the tasks. Then launch MSFS ON THE Microsoft Store, not through the start menu. It worked for me, hopefully it
helps you too!
