MSFS 2020 Offline

How do I start MSFS2020 in the offline mode? on my PC

Trying to start MSFS2020 offline. Have Cached maps and turned Data online to OFF within settings. On start the programs defaults to a dialogue box requesting a disk to be inserted (who has an optical drive these days) or quit

So we get and endless loop

Any suggestions for a work around pls.................

How do you open it offline?

When MSFS2020 has started go to options general data and turn the data online off.

You will have to of downloaded the data cache for the area you want to fly offline and have it stored on your PC.

I have the same problem "Please insert disc" or exit.

Hello Fromthemount, my name is zahir.

Please check your xbox live status in your area. Reset router and reboot console.

Have you checked in game under options, general options, data that online functionality is set to ‘on’. Happened to me that it was suddenly set to off.

Also go to option -> general options -> data -> then reset the settings to default and it should be working fine from then.
