MSFS 2020 crashes when updating on PC

Try to run the system file checker. Type cmd in the search box, and then right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator. Then click on Yes to access CMD with admin rights.

Type the sfc /scannow command in the elevated command prompt and hit Enter. After that, the tool will scan and try to repair the corrupted system files automatically.

If the SFC command was unable to repair corrupt system files, you can try running the following DISM commands:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Now, you can reboot your PC and restart the service to check if you can now start it. If the issue persists, I suggest you also contact the game support for further troubleshooting.

Open the Start menu, search Services then open Services. Scroll down the list and find all of the Xbox entries (they are near the bottom).

Xbox Accessory Management Service

Xbox Live Auth Manager

Xbox Live Game Save

Xbox Live Networking Service

When you find them right-click on them and select Start. If you can see that they are already running you can skip them.

Yes, it's only game with this issue

I am playing on Legion 5 with RTX 3060 and Ryzen 7 5800h, so I think the problem isn't on hardware
