MS Support referral acknowledging they messed up... GEARS OF WAR 4

Gonna make this simple as somehow this hasn't been understood and a generic response was given.

5 Days back and forth with simply games and microsoft...

Simply games aren't acknowledging this is their issue as...

• MICROSOFT DID NOT PROVIDE THEM WITH PREORDER CODES.

• NO IT IS NOT IN THE CASE & MICROSOFT HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THE ISSUE AND SENT ME HERE TO GET A CODE.

• I HAVE PROOF OF PURCHASE AND PREORDER

• I HAVE FULL SUPPORT FROM MICROSOFT AND HAVE SUPPORT CODE AND TRANSCRIPT STATING THIS

• I HAVE AN EMAIL AS FURTHER PROOF FROM SIMPLY GAMES DENYING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CODE.

• I HAVE PROOF OF MICROSOFT STATING THAT ANY PREORDER DIGITAL OR RETAIL COMES WITH BROTHERS TO THE END ANS VINTAGE PACKS.

• AGAIN IT HAS ALREADY BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED BY MICROSOFT THAT THEY AGREE WITH ME WITH THIS ISSUE AND SENT ME HERE TO HAVE A CODE ISSUED.

• YOU HAVE NOT SUPPLIED THE CODES TO THE COMPANY AND THEY CANNOT SEND ME THE CODE THEREFORE YOU ACKNOWLEDGED IT IS AN ISSUE WITH MICROSOFT AND NOT THE RETAILER.

ACTUALLY READ THE ISSUE INSTEAD OF GENERIC RESPONSE AS MS HAVE ALREADY ACKNOWLEDGED THE ISSUE AND STATED THEY WILL SORT IT... I CAN PROVIDE THE SUPPORT CODE WHERE IT IS ALL FULLY STATED IN WRITING AND SENT EMAILS FROM MS AND SIMPLYGAMES AS PROOF.

ALSO HAVE FULL MARKETING MATERIAL TO PROVE THAT ANY PREORDER COMES WITH THOSE PACKS.

Multiple XB1 with open NAT possible?

yeah they messed up party chat. my advice is to just use Skype for now although that has a 4 player limit I think. lots of stuff for MS to iron out for sure

 

EA Titles RRP is £54.99

Good thing is Halo 4, Gears of War Judgement are also £49.99 on the MS UK store so we should see similar prices in store like now.

To clarify, only participating retailers were given codes and in this case it appears that Simply Games was not a participating retailer in this promotion.

If you refer to https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/store/p/gears-of-war-4-pre-order/9nblggh4rq6d?cid=majornelson (which is no longer
available for purchase, since the game has been released) It states the following.

"* Pre-order bonus offers available with pre-orders made prior to, or on October 11, 2016, on Xbox Store, Xbox.com, or at participating retailers."

So in this case, Simply Games was not a participating retailer in this promotion and this is why they don't have codes to provide to you. If they were a participating retailer in that promotion you would have seen either a leaflet inside the box with codes
for the Brothers to the End and Vintage DLC packs, an email with a code or a code printed on the receipt. You should see the Gears of War Collection pack however, as that is apart of the promotion that Simply Games did participate in.
