MS Refused to Replace Brand New Laptop :(

No fixes. Had to buy new controller. MS refused to replace.

I refuse to send a basically brand new console to Microsoft only to have a refurbished unit sent out to replace it. If I don't get a brand new console as a replacement, I will not be satisfied. I feel the only remedy is to box it back up and sell it to
some other unsuspecting fool, just as Microsoft has done to me. The new controller is the only thing I ever liked about the Xbox one anyways, the console is a joke.

if your console is still under the 1 year warranty then they should not be refusing a replacement, Also you need to be the original owner from brand new of the console for the warranty to stand.

Have you tried getting a warranty replacement through the online service and warranty centre

Thanks for the response, maybe I was unclear on the post, I have the XBOX X, just from the original launch. I have done everything I can do including contacting MS, little frustrating when it's outside of warranty less than a year and they refuse to
address the problem that is well known from the first batch. Other say try replacing the thermal paste, MS will fix it I'm sure for $249 , when brand new consoles are $349. The math doesn't add up, you would think being first of the lot paying $500+ for
the console with a company being a multi-billion dollar business a replacement would not be out of the question.

It is a brand new headset and works on my laptop.
