Thank you for the reply. Let's try to delete the packages folder on your computer. Kindly perform the following steps below:

1. On your computer, navigate this location on your C: drive: C: \ Users \ <user id> \ AppData \ Local \ Packages
2. Delete the files the you may see in the folder.
3. Once done, open the Task Manager window by using the CTRL + Alt + Delete keys, click the File Explorer, then click End task.
4. Open the Windows PowerShell as adminitrator then type the following command: Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Once done, kindly check if that helps you record games on your computer.

Origin: Battlefield 1-CTE-INCURSIONS

STEAM: GTA SA, Rake, Outlast 2, Friday the 13th The Game, CS:GO, Resident Evil 5 and 6, Left 4 Dead 2.

Original games purchased outside of Steam and Origin: Grand Theft Auto V, Fortnite, League of Legend, World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, World of Warplanes, Total War Arena.

I have this error in all the recordable applications, like Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, and all these games

I have this problem when trying to record with xbox DVR in any game, whether from the Microsoft store or from Steam and Origin.

I appreciate your reply. Just to clarify, are you trying to record clips from your Steam and Origin games using the Xbox Game DVR? Normally, you can record clips from your Games or Apps as long as they came from the Microsoft Store. This could be the possible
reasons why you are being required to get the games from the Microsoft Store.
