MS failed to fulfil an order?

I ordered an xbox with COD3 for my sons Xmas present. I hadn't opened the box as assumed MS would be able to get it right but there's only a console in the box. Disappointed son at Xmas. Now I've been circling a very unhelpful set of questions trying to speak to someone.

Where did you purchase the console? Did you look in the box for a game code? Or depending on the store did you check the receipt for a game code?

Purchased directly from Microsoft and yes checked box

I'm in the same boat. The MS store still hasn't shipped my copy of the MCC yet, even though I pre-ordered it. Hopefully they ship our bundles soon, I have some anxiety about whether they will cancel our orders or actually fulfill them. Let us hope for the
latter.
