    The new version of MS Edge is not working properly on XBOX One X or S. The Edge advanced Setting "Report's mobile" is no longer available.

    When crtv.com is issued a command to begin streaming a video the server waits for Adobe Flash to respond with a client ready; however, XBOX (like a mobile device) has a built in compatible flash player. When the server senses a Mobile Device Client
    it just streams the flash content.

    The previous version of Edge for XBOX One could be set to act like a mobile client, this fooled the server into just streaming the content which Edge handled perfectly.

    Is there a way to set the new version of Edge for XBOX to be set to a mobile browser?

    The new interface is a huge improvement, but that one lost feature was a killer (web sire killer that is).

    The best solution would be able to set a specific website as report as mobile device.

    Xbox's browser Microsoft Edge, will crash when not on a secure website.

    It will also crash on some stream site, especially the one that require a flash player.

    It's best to find a more secure site or use a computer for those current sites.

    Please note that the streaming services needs to adapt their websites to the Edge console version.
    If the sites aren’t working as expected probably it’s because the website doesn’t support well Edge

    You can try sharing this feedback with the website developers, in that way they can add compatibility with Edge on consoles soon

    I don't think you realize the issue.

    Console browsers aren't full browsers

    They are the same as mobile browsers. And fyi xbox uses edges there are limits to what you can do in a mobile browser

    Shopping or flash ain't one of them since flash is discontinued since a lot of sites haven't been updated to html 5 you are stuck

    You would need html5 compliant sites which few e-commerce sites are

    And hate to burst your bubble but edge is chromium based with a higher percentage of compatibility and faster render speeds then chrome

    However you are dealing with a console browser which is limited since a lot of commerce sites uses flash for ads

    Basically console browsers even if chrome was added would be limited which won't happen since its a Google product andgoogle have no interest in supporting a competitor since they have stradia

    Same exact issue, for months now, reported multiple times, taken every troubleshooting step requested or suggested, on site, or customer service, with both MS and internet provider,

    only issues, store on xbox one with code 193, and the entire MS site on any device in household, including edge on xbox one, with your request has been blocked, proxy issue, etc.
