    MS Account Questions


    Okay so.. Long story short, I screwed myself over trying to fix a few problems I was having. I decided to contact Customer Support online but each time I contacted nothing was solved..

    I have contacted them 3 times with no answers. I would've done it 1 more time but the "line" is huge.. So I just accepted it and decided to move on.. But I have a one question. I think it can be answered by other xbox players, who have probably had similar
    problems.

    Is it possible to use a gamertag that was once associated with a microsoft account and was deleted?

    If not, I think that's totally crazy. I'm not talking about the points or anything either, just the availability of gamertag.

    I'm thinking of moving my Gamertag from my Xbox MS account to my Windows 8 MS account?

    My question now is what happens to the DLC that is liked to my Gamertag on the Xbox MS account? Will I have to buy all the DLC again and lose the collectors/pre-ordered DLC that I got if I move over to the W8 MS account? Also, does the MS points and Live
    sub get moved over to the new MS account?

    There's no way for you to completely remove a gamertag from the system yourself. Removing it from a Microsoft account or deleting the Microsoft account, does not delete the Xbox account. If the gamertag was freed up in one of the previous mass gamertag releases
    or the person who owns the account doesn't sign in for 5 years (starting 2016) the tag will be freed up for use.

    How old is he? If is age is accurate on his Windows Live ID then most likely "yes", this is preventing you from downloading it on his account.

    If you think it is approapriate for him to play then you are probably better off downloading it on your account.

    Buy a card at the store, set his permissions to download content. Otherwise the points go to you, the account holder. You can then give your son an allowance. He still can't use the points without your permission though. This involves verification. Just
    get a card.

    Or if on the same Xbox, download for you, he can still play it. If a different xbox, log into your account on his xbox and download it. Just remember you can only transfer content licensing to an xbox once a year. Shouldn't be an issue if you never want
    it on your xbox.

    Trying to by Call of Duty: Ghosts from the Marketplace, not giving option to use money in account.

    on the website it will ask you for an payment option and it is the only option

    however on the console you can click switch to ms account

    and the rest taken from the payment method (that will be a question when pressing x) after switching to ms account
