No, you don’t, it’s a universal power supply, and if you did leave on the transformer might be more money than the console. Once you go over what a basic laptop needs they skyrocket.

The console is multi-voltage, all you need is an adaptor for the plug or the cable for the one sold in the U.S.

There maybe some region differences for downloading digital games again when you change your account region from Germany to the U.S. But from plugging in, everything will work fine.

For the console itself all you need is the right cable for USA and make sure all your info (billing/delivery/payments) is changed to your new US adress.

"Of course it will work" is not the best answer. Now, it will work, but the difference in power and voltage standards can be tricky. The power brick in the Xbox One X is internal and dual voltage, so you would be able to use a power plug adapter, or as
a better option, get a power cord for the new region that fits directly. Adapters aren't inherently bad, but I've used a few that were of questionable quality and it's just safer without that extra step of electricity potentially causing an issue.

In addition to that,
there are steps to migrate your account and console to the new region, if it was set to DE before.

Were you in the US Army? As if you bought it at a PX that can change the answers. Either way, good luck on the move. I used to live in Ansbach near Nuremberg. I miss it. Well, not in February, but spring in particular. I can't handle the cold anymore.
