Moving subscriptions and previous purchases to another account

Hello

I have my own Microsoft account with which I used outlook for emails, etc.

8 years ago, my son, who was 9 at the time, had an xbox. To keep an eye on his activity and purchases, he used my Microsoft account. He is now 17 and I want him to take responsibility for paying for his xbox game pass subscriptions and any ad hoc things he wants to buy.

He already has a Microsoft account.

How do I go about transferring this 'stuff' from my account to his?

Nothing can be transferred between accounts.

Unfortunately, you can't move purchases or subscriptions like Live or Game Pass to another account

Depending on when you purchased Halo and the Gold membership, you might ask the official support for a refund, so you can purchase the game and subscription again on a different account.

But moving isn't possible currently.

Unfortunately, you can't move digital purchases from one account to another.

You would have to
request a refund, and then buy it with your correct account again.

You can move your games and applications from one console to another in two ways: using an external storage disk or

using a network transfer.

All membership, subscriptions...(Gold, Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate...) are linked to your account

and like your saved games, all is registered online. Do not panic, log in to your account, and everything will be

there.

Like Hjal says, at the slightest problem, all your previous purchases or backups can be recalled from your purchase

history and download again.

Seeing as you canceled the previous Family pack the other accounts should not automatically add themselves back if you purchases another subscription. For further help and troubleshooting with the Family pack, take a look at this
