    Moving from one region to another - cannot change XBox Game Pass


    I'm trying to switch from an Irish opened Xbox Game Pass to a New Zealand Game Pass Ultimate.. due to region being different this errors out. I cannot cancel the Irish subscription as it was already paid so now Im stuck!

    Ive already changed my Store location to NZ. How can I get around this without opening a new account?

    You can't change your region!

    Microsoft not allow people move from one country to another. They can't understand that Europe is free and people can easily move from one region to another! Answer is always same: "make new account"!

    each region has their own laws and languages

    and YES there is major restrictions on content

    germany and australia has the most baned games and restrictions

    this is why content cannot be freely moved

    the best policy is to create a new account that has local content rather then content you cannot use from another region



    some EU countries have netflix and skyplayer for UK

    and those are IP specific

    germany has restrictions about the amount of violence and content in games

    you cannot get certain languages in other regions like english

    no server allows for changing of regions

    they do allow you to create another account in another region this includes PSN wow etc etc



    so changing the region of the account won't do any good due to 1st not all languages are available in each region

    2nd content is not available in all regions

    so moving to another region account could lose access to the compatible content

    once age is set it CANNOT be changed, live accounts CANNOT be moved from one account to another sorry.

    Why cannot I change my region?

    For one you can only move to xbox live support ed regions

    Argentina isn't a xbox live supported region be glad you cannot change to a non supported region

    Another reason why I also bought a PS3 and another good move by Microsoft by removing region locked games from the Xbox ONE.
