Moving back to the base edition of Forza Horizon 4 after playing the Ultimate edition

    Moving back to the base edition of Forza Horizon 4 after playing the Ultimate edition


    So this question might sound strange. Because why would anyone want to move back to the base edition if they have the ultimate.

    But there is a reason for this question.

    Before delisting we bought the ultimate edition of Forza Horizon 4 on xbox, on my account. We still have an xbox one s which my wife, my daughter and myself play on. We are planning on buying either a series S or X soon and the old one s will go to my daughter's room. Since that old xbox will no longer be our home xbox it is my understanding my daughter can no longer play FH4 on the old xbox because she can not play the games that are on my account unless I log in.

    So, theoretically. If my daughter has played the ultimate version. Has gotten some cars from that, but has not made any progress in either the lego or island expension. And we were to buy the DISK version second hand for her. Which is the base game. Can she just continue playing without any problems? Or does she have to start over because she has content on her account she has not bought?

    And also. Can she easily play on both the new (ultimate version) console and the console in her room which has the base version?

    I would also like to ask a second question, which might nulify my first question.

    Is the situation I present below possible?

    We own the ultimate edition of FH4 on my account.

    We have 3 xboxes (2x series s and 1x one s)

    Home console Series S: Wife logs in and plays Forza Horizon 4

    2nd Series S: I log in and play FH4

    Xbox one S: I log in to give acces to my daughther, and she logs in on her account at the same time to play FH4 on her account.

    ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

    Just wondering if that is possible and/or allowed.

    After looking into it, It looks like the Ultimate Edition is going to be available on

    9/28/2018     which is already the 4 day Early Access to the game as the Standard Edition is available on

    Forza Horizon 4 - DLCs not available from Ultimate Edition

    Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition is not included in Game Pass Ultimate. Only the standard edition of the game is included. If you want to play the add-ons as well, then you will have to purchase them.
