    Moving a game to a new console


    Hello

    I am looking to buy one of the new consoles (Series S or X).

    They are released 10th November but I want to download FIFA 21 on my current Xbox One so I can play it while waiting for the new console.

    Will I be able to transfer the game over to a new console when I buy it, or should I wait for the new console to purchase FIFA 21?

    No one here has said this, but if you are going to purchase FIFA 21 on the Xbox One, then you will be able to get the Xbox Series S/X version at no additional cost. More info on that here

    Yes you will! If you have an external hard drive, transfer it to that, then, when you get your next gen console plug the hard drive into the USB port and transfer it from the external to the SSD hard drive that is in your new xbox to enjoy the speeds and
    benefits of the new console!

    Hi, probably the easiest way is to download the game again on your new console. Got to settings /account/ download history, the game should be listed there for free download. You will need to be signed into the profile that purchased the game and you may
