    Hello Resin8tion,

    I am sorry for this issue, I have had the same issue and it was quiet upsetting because I rented a movie and was never able to watch it.

    You can look here for errors and what to try to fix by following this link:
    support.xbox.com/.../video-playback-status-codes

    You never gave an exact error message so I wasn't able to help you fully.

    You can call Microsoft in hopes of getting a refund by calling 1-800-469-9269.

    The number posted above is for North America. OP - the currency symbol you used suggests that you are in the UK. Try either of these numbers 020 7365 9792 or 0800 587 1102

    I never bought a movie on the console but I think it will be the same as with the games.

    All you have to do is refund the movie and buy it again.
