Moved house, no internet for a month. Need help accessing games.

Hi,

Like the title says, we have had to move during the covid problem, which we have managed okay, but we cant get the internet set up till mid june due to there not being engineers to fit it.

Question is I updated my xbox and it's set as my home xbox, but it seems really random as to what games will work and what won't. For example about half of the games with gold I have work fine, but the other half say I need to be connected online. Any ideas?

First of all congratulations on the new home, we all currently live in very trying and uncertain times and it's always good to hear good news! 😁

With the main question posed some games on xbox require internet connection to be able to run such as fortnite, COD: BO IV, ect.

Others may require an update to play which requires an online connection to download.

I'm sorry you are unable to play your full library of games but I hope you enjoy some of the games you are able to play and that you are able to get back online ASAP! 👍

Okay thank's for the reply's, I don't have access to internet yet as I'm in the process of a house move and I will be with out internet for a few months! That's the reason I'm using mobile broadband, I wonder if the MiFi would be a better option then?

Okay my mom blocked me from been able to access the internet of the house so i need help because its not letting me connect to my hotspot hither.

No problem , and if your cable is like mine there should only be one cable coming into your house for Internet and TV , then it splits , anywhere you have rg6 cable , you should have Internet on it ....if you do need to move it..
