Just remember if you have games that are not available in Germany, you will not be able to play them if you migrate your account to German. I've been down that road.

You may need a different plug as the adaptors and voltage are different in Germany, check the voltage of what is needed to make sure you don't break your console.

As for the games, dlc and gold subscription. You should be fine. Although you can only use xbox live cards/codes in the location your at. For example you can't get a code from the USA and use it in Germany.

The games shouldn't be different unless some games have restrictions due to the German law.

You should check all the above to be sure.

There are no regional restrictions on things you have already purchased. So you will be able to continue to play them as you always have. The only thing to remember is that not all content is available to be purchased in all regions. So what you see available
in the US Microsoft store may be slightly different from the German Microsoft store. But I am pretty sure Xbox Live and Gold membership and things like that can be pirchased there just like they can here. The only difference is the currency you will use to

Your games and DLCs should be fine as there are no restrictions in Germany to games. You may have to get a couple new cables, but be sure to use a lot of bubble wrap on your Xbox!

Another suggestion, make a live.com or gmail.com email account before you go. Set it as your email alias at https://account.microsoft.com This will stay as a constant wherever
you move, making it easier to change and verify your account.
