Move reward points between accounts

I have my gold xbox account and it seems at some point I signed up for xbox rewards with my newer email and all my rewards have tied to the non gold account. Can they be moved? Because I have a lot of rewards points that at the moment aren't being used.

Xbox Rewards Credits transfer date (to MS Rewards)

I had 8,500 MyVIP credits that I thought would move over to Microsoft Rewards points on June 15. They did not move and now I can't log in to the Xbox Live Rewards account as they have all been shut down.

When will my Xbox Live Rewards credits transfer to MS Rewards points?

Heya,

thanks very much for your answer but the Xbox Live Gold already ran out. I've been using it on the other account because I didn't know about moving it to my own account back then. I think there's nothing left for me to do than to rename it to something else
and move it to my current WLID.

We do not see any other accounts associated with your email, and we see that this account is in Gold status. We cannot transfer Credits between accounts. If you are asking about issues with another account, you will have to post using that account with your
issue, and we will be able to investigate that specific account.

Sorry, nothing can be transferred between accounts, apart from Microsoft Rewards Points.

On the Microsoft rewards webpage, click on community and add the other person as a family member. When they accept the invite, you can send or receive points between the accounts.

I know it's frustrating, but unfortunately the reason it's so annoying is because of hackers. The 30 day rule is so they can't change the one thing that encompasses your account, it's your login credentials for one.

The steps you're listing above will only switch the Live ID between the two accounts, but the accounts will basically remain the same. If you're wanting to use just the old gamertag on the new account, you would have to pay to change the name on the old
account, then use it on the new account. Once you change a gamertag, it does get freed up in the system to be reused. However, it may not happen instantly (I've heard it can take anywhere from 24 hours to 45 days) and it is possible someone else could grab
the tag before you have a chance to use it on the second account.
