    Move game back to ext.storage?


    Hi, newbie here!

    I’m going to store games on external drive. Moving/copying game from ext. to int. then play. After that do I have to move the game back to ext. or can I delete it (in order to free up space int.)? Will progress be saved?

    You can either delete the game from your console or move it back to the external drive, it's your choice. Either option won't erase your progress as it's saved in your account's cloud storage. Please reach back if you have further questions.

    XBOX USB PROBLEM

    Move your saves to your internal storage. Remove 360 storage from the device and reconfigure. Move saves back and reinstall the game.

    You're welcome! Unfortunately, there is not. The Xbox Team will receive that feedback and work on a fix, which should become available for the app (or the entire Xbox Dashboard) in the future.

    What you have mentioned might actually be an oversight in the interface design. Indeed, you should return to the exact place you were in, which means that this could be a bug. You can report this issue by following these steps:

    1. Install the Xbox Insider Bundle through the Microsoft Store.

    2. Once it is installed, open the Xbox Insider app and then close it.

    3. Then, press the Xbox button on your controller (like you are going to turn the console off), and on that screen, select Report a problem.

    4. Complete the Report with a video capture, if possible.
