Accessibility settings: In the Xbox settings menu, look for "Accessibility" and check if the options related to the keyboard and mouse are enabled.

Keyboard and mouse settings: In some versions of the Xbox, it is possible to customize the keyboard and mouse settings, including the option to keep the setting active after exiting the game.

3. Check that the keyboard and mouse are properly connected:

Make sure that the keyboard and mouse are properly connected to the console's USB port.

For the following to work you must make the menu selections using your keyboard. If you use the controller to make your menu selections to start the game you will be placed in a room for those with a controller and your keyboard/mouse will be non functional

There are certain games you can use keyboard and mouse on such as Fortnite and Warframe to name a few. You still need to have an Xbox One controller connected to the console to launch the game and access the menus. Once the game launches you can take over
with your keyboard and mouse.

Thanks for coming to the forums. This isn't just up to Microsoft. The developers need to allow keyboard and mouse play also. So it is all dependent on the developers of the games. As the keyboard and mouse function is relatively new still, to create a list
would take a lot of time. As there is tons of different keyboards and mouse out there. They may recommend a few different ones but for a full list not sure that will happen.

Mouse and Keyboard Support on Xbox One. That being said you may want to contact the manufacturer of the mouse and see if they have further information about their product. The keyboard and mouse feature is fairly new and may still evolve and possibly become
more compatible with more devices in the future.
