Mouse Movement not working on Xbox One S

I purchased an entry level keyboard and mouse for my xbox one, and both plug in to it just fine. They both turn on and all the buttons work, on the mouse however, the movement does not register at all. Ive tried it on Modern Warfare, Minecraft and in the
Internet Explorer app.

I’m not sure if this is an issue with the mouse itself or a setting I need to change but I think I’ve tried everything. Im open to try anything before I try buying a new mouse.

Have you tried another USB port yet? That's odd that it doesn't work at all.

Yep, all three ports, I can’t even click or scroll either on Internet Explorer either.

I am not, I’ll have to check it out. Update on issue though: I purchased a new mouse and it works perfectly. I took apart the cheap one and found out it was broken to begin with.

Hi, I played it yesterday at X019 on xbox with a keyboard and mouse and worked wonderfully. Was set with classic controls so arrows as camera movement up,down,left and right and mouse camera movement.
