I am going to try moving the install location. I noticed that Halo is on a m.2 while the others are on a regular ssd. my computer has 2 x m.2's and 2 regular ssd, so I will try to put it on one of the other drives see if that helps out.

That has not made any difference.

The game runs fine as long as I don't touch the mouse (G502) I have tried 3 different usb ports as well to see if that might help.
