Mouse Clicks not working on Minecraft Xbox One S

Yes everything is plugged in properly and there are limited mouse settings which i have tried to configure. Os there anything else i sjould be aware of?

I have recently tried playing Minecraft with the digital version (not the Xbox edition) and have attempted to play with a wired mouse and keyboard. My keyboard works appropriately however my left and right click do not register. I am able to look around
but not place and mine blocks or click on various menus or anything for that matter. I have tried using a different mouse which hasn't worked as well as restarting my console multiple times and uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I can enter the Mouse
and keyboards setting on the mine craft app using my keyboard but am unable to get any use out of the left and right clicks. I have searched the forums with no answer and support would be appreciated.

I truly understand this issue and I highly suggest to double check the game,make sure mouse is 100% plugged in and if it still doesn't work feel free to make another post

Logitec mouses are perfect

The one I tried using oddly didn't work with the Xbox One S, it just made the Microsoft Edge style cursor appear on the game and it wouldn't click or actually work on anything.
