Mouse Causes Audio Lag

Is there any work around to using the controller for audio while playing games with mouse and keyboard so that we aren't having to remember to touch the controller within 15 minutes before it shuts off causing us to lose audio?

Do you also have this issue when using the mouse and keyboard because it seems unlikely that lag and sound issues are caused by a controller, also which game is it ?

Yes myself and a friend of mine also have the same issues.

Audio stuttering also occurs when moving mouse cursor in menus and causes FPS Drops it seems.

something that you might want to check too is the audio drivers.

I myself experience a lot of lag in most type of video (also in games) when my standard audio is set to a specific audio device. If I change that to a different audio device then all video playback is smooth again.

(I change it by clicking speaker icon in task bar in bottom right corner)

Since you mention your mouse, try to see what happens when using a different mouse if available or checking the drivers for that too.

Another thing to try is to disable game bar, there is a setting in windows for that, to see if that makes any difference.
